Thrift shop find... Large Mid Century pottery lamp... You got to love the orange...it has a walnut base, and it works... I paid 5 dollars... Sometimes you are in the right place at the right time..

I'd say its Italian based on the base and the art pottery. I see that base on a lot of Italian mid century lamps, and a lot of ceramic lamps came from there during that period.

Thanks Whistler... I thought it was period for sure... And now that you say that I can see it... It looks as though there was some sort of tag underneath at one time
