Vintage Rhinestone earrings / Stick Pin

Hello all!

Can anyone help me identify what these earrings are actually called? They are clip but the main rhinestones on the front have the ability to be pulled out of a tubular part to create a stick pin like pin. Does anyone know what this type of earring would be "officially" named? Also, if you happen to know the era these were made, that would be great to know too!
