AMF Meatball Candlepin Bowling Pin

Here is a bit of a departure for me. It's a candlepin bowling pin! These are much harder to find than duckpins and tenpins from the same era and I have no idea why other than the fact that it could have been the least popular or widespread form of pin bowling. It is used (having spent a fair amount of time getting hit by candlepin balls on the lanes) but in good condition, dented, slight nicks, otherwise intact. It is in fact taller than a tenpin pin at 15.75" tall. It weighs about a pound less, though. There is a plastic base ring on BOTH ends as there is no distinction between top and bottom when setting a candlepin. Also, curiously, there is no sanctioning stamp. The current sanctioning body is the ICBA (International Candlepin Bowling Association) but I do not know if it was active for pins of this vintage.
