    Nice Avon necklace. Micro flowers, tiny gemstones, amethyst and pearls.
    Faux stones ? It is marked Avon SP. I like it because of it's detail. But I have not found out when in was made.

      I saw this yesterday and tried to look it up--the only thing I found was that the "SP" is an internal code at Avon, not the makers signature as some people believe. My initial thought was that the necklace is from the 1980's--Just a guess though : )

      I know one fool-proof way of testing pearls--you may find it a bit crude, but you can ever so slightly grind your teeth on it and if it feels a bit sandy, it is real, and if it feels very smooth, faux
