I bought this because I have never seen one before. Can't figure out what it is. Looks like a wood plane, but there's no opening at the bottom. Whatever is supposed to be feed thru it, hits a lever that rings the bell. Both the wood and the metal edge that the lever goes thru when you push it are sharpened.
You need more pictures..from the bottom, the cutting edge, the entire implement etc.
I'll try again to post more pix. They wouldn't load the first time.
