hi guys. my dad has had this a while and ask me if I could find out its age and where it was made. any help would be appreciated. it's about 5 cm wide at its widest point 19mm at the top, about 3 cm at the bottom and about 22mm wide. it did have a brass spoon in it when he got it but it broke off and he cant find it. thanks all.

Well there you go! I being a Newbie was just looking through the solved mysteries and I see the Chinese snuff bottle...I have the exact one that the auction house featured on the link page...well now I know it is not after all made from Ivory I was told the spoon was used for C_c_ _ _e. oh well there goes the holiday!n ;)
