Found this old thing in an old food cache in my yard. Can't find a patent.
Can anyone tell me anything about it?

You didn't give any dimensions or specs. Based on the size of the dog next to it I would say it is a miniature. Probably a GEMCO salesman's sample made of tin during the 1950's.
