My unknown vintage lantern

I have a brass lantern with p&a mfg co on the end of the handle that turn up the wick, it has a double wick, it is round in shape the height to the top of the wick is 7", and to the top of the container is 4 1/2" and it is 4 1/4" wide. Everything works and is easy to turn. I found this between the ceiling and floor on the second floor during a remodel job from a house built in 1879.
