    I have not seen any other references or photos of this vase, although I have seen the pattern on an antique tobacco jar. Beautifully painted, it's my favourite item,

      Kookaburra it may have series numbers on the base to help date it .

      hi there, i have a plate with this design on it, i too have been looking for references to it you are the first!!! i love it too, i found the D4205 is 1921-1922 and the Royal Doulton mark (for dating purposes) is closest to a B9 which was used after 1932 though also used from 1923-27 though not so often. I found this info on website chinafinda for dating, i think it was. sorry im not much help, i love your vase!!
