Carder Steuben

I bought this Aurene stick vase this past week at my local flea market. Love the simple form.

Although I have seen these pieces several times, I have never really paid close attention as to who produced them. With a little research and help from folks on-line it was determined that it was produced by Carder Steuben.

I have to say the signature was a bit suspicious but my research convinced me it was spot on. The shape number should read 2556. Instead it looks like 2665 was applied to this piece. I have provided a comparison pic of the signatures from reputable sources.

Details: stands 8 1/4" tall, the foot diameter is 3".
