This is a beautiful wood desk I found on craigslist and plan on turning into a dressing table. Before I alter it, I want to make sure I'm not damaging something valuable. I'm not even sure what this kind of desk is called. The closest I can find is a slant top writing desk or a schoolhouse desk. Is there anything you can tell me?
