This ring was in a JTV ( Jewelry TV ) box, looks similar to a lot of rings from JTV. It is marked 925 which is sterling I know, it also is marked RSE, the makers initials but who is that ? I cannot find him/her.
The stone is big so assuming man made possibly, what kind of stone.
