Okay, this was clearly an irrational purchase but how could i pass up the possibility of owning a Masonic Scepter?? It is on a wooden pole and came with a cast iron base. It looks like a cornucopia or from a distance like an elf from an ad. Does anyone recognize it? What powers do I now possess?

I have no idea what category this fits into.

I don't recognize that as being anything related to the Freemasons. It is a cornucopia, but I have no clue what it is supposed to be for/represent. Maybe somebody used it in a parade and the cast iron base it where it lives.

      I dunno, lol!

Thanks all -- Dizzydave, I think you are right that it is the cornucopia, the symbol of a steward. I'm bummed to think it is a flag pole though and not a scepter. I was really enjoying the idea of wielding a scepter.
