This modern era Kosta Boda vase is signed by renowned glass artist Bertil Vallien. It features decoration with sea snakes, controlled bubbles, and opalescent streaks of color suspended in a heavy crystal clear glass, creating a fantasy underwater world. It stands about 5" tall and is about 3.5" in diameter at the widest. The rim is polished and the base is ground flat. The signature is engraved with the details in the slightly concave finished pontil. It also retains the original sticker. (not visible in the photos)
