    I love the way this was made. I think it's a short pin. I can't make out the marking on it but I think it old. Its about 2 in long. Wish I knew more. It is a beutiful piece tho.

      This is a really pretty brooch. Edit your post and take a clear photo through a magnifier so the mark can be read. Filigree jewelry is made in Italy and Indonesia, for example. Most filigree is made in 800 silver because it's a stronger material than 925 sterling.
