Has grooves on side. Take a cork. Has a horizontal diamond with a 9 above it on the left side. Would like more info.

Wasn't able to find any listings with your particular mark on it, but this would have been a medicine bottle containing some kind of healing elixir. Unfortunately, your photos are against a dark background, so difficult to see. I don't see any grooves on the side(s); also no photo of the diamond with a 9 above it.
There are a few bottle-people here, so someone else may come along with more information.
