I got this bracelet some time ago but didn't post it because I don't know what to make of it. It looks like the cornrow design but I don't think it is the real thing because it feels too light. It does seem, however, handmade.
It is marked "Sterling" but because I don't know what it is I posted it as Costume Jewelry.
I tried to research the mark but couldn't come up with anything.

Thanks, Mary. I am not sure if this piece is for real. I got it at a Christmas bazaar, so I thought there is not much lost if it isn't. Until I am sure what it is, I will keep it listed in the costume jewelry category. I hope someone knows more about where it came from - but then again one should be careful what one wishes for... sometimes it's better to leave things as they are, LOL
