B Altman & Co transferware tureens

Goodwill find. Measures 7" L X 5" H X 4" W --Both were wraped in heavy packaging tape to keep lids from falling off . I ran warm water over the tape to keep the tape from peeling off the transfers. Also I cut around the label with a razor blade as the packaging tape covered that. Each tureen has the B Altman & Co label indicating they were sold as a pair ..One lid has other information on its underside. Could
02 43 printed on label mean Feb. 1943 ? Purchase price $ 6.00 for both.
