This was given to my son recently and belonged to his Great Uncle. He was an engineer that worked under contract for NASA in the 1960s. The story that came with it was vague to the effect it was commerative for work he did. Can anyone shed some light on this? My son is hoping to go to the US Air Force Academy next year to study Physics with hope of working at NASA some day.
