I inherited this beauty when I was a young girl. I never thought to ask the person who gave it to me about this ring. All these years later, I am itching to know about it. I am currently trying to date it. Anyway, I am new here & I thought this would be a good way to get my feet wet. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, your ring looks lovely, and I am pretty sure the "stone" is actually glass known as Dragon's Breath. If you google that you should find lots of information for it:)

Yep, TassieDevil is right, Dragon's breath art glass, very stylish and nice ring! I think around 1930.

I wonder, I imagine they made necklaces or bracelets to match this.

Thank you all! I am definitely going to read more about Dragon's Breath. It's such an unusual ring, it quickly became my favorite heirloom.
