    I found this copper fitting in the ground. It was buried. It’s a rather heavy little piece. I have no idea what it is. The top is concave. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thank you!!!

      It is a grease or oil cup for machinery, possibly an early automobile. The top should unscrew.
