    Found this in a home clean out. The white rod looks and feels like ceramic. The wood handle has lathe mark from turning. I have no idea of age. Thanks in advance.

      Ceramic knife sharpener. Not old.

      This is a little short for a knife sharpener but just about right to touch up the edge on a lathe turning gouge, which is a half round chisel.
