I am supposed to be tidying up today, but as usual, I have got distracted! I found a whole load of old envelopes, including some Victorian ones. They belonged to my Uncle Don, who worked in a solicitors in Carlisle (England) and collected stamps etc. This one is my favourite with a very amusing hand drawn picture on the front. It is dated 1883. One of the envelopes is as early as 1853,

AdeleC, what a beautiful lot of envelopes you got, start to be rare full cover like this, make sure no one remove stamp from it, really love the variety of mark and cancellation, very, very nice.
