    Can someone help me identify this shovel. I bought it a long time ago and thought it was a US item but when I look at the WWII US shovels none look like this. There are no markings on this anywhere that I can find. I have probably had this for 30 years

      The total lack of marking would raise red flags with me.

      Yes the lack of marking is the problem that is making it hard to identify. I have had this for 30 years and the amount of wear on it makes it unlikely that it is a reproduction because it was worn like that when I got it.
