I am trying to identify those dolls. I got them in a box lot at my local auction house. I have looked for markings on the dolls and can not find any. They have a small amount of fabric hair and red painted on shoes. I can’t tell if the are hard plastic or celluloid. Their clothes are glued to their body and their arms moves. It also looks like their socks and some hair are impressed into the plastic of the dolls. They are about 2.5 inch tall. Any help would be great.
Plastic penny dolls . Sold in dime stores . Hard to know maker but could be used for doll house also. Makers name would have been on the clear plastic bag they were sold in.
No real monetary value just a nice find . Welcome to CW
These little dolls were also used on trips in cars for a little girl to play with .
