My mom believes this clock to be over 100 years old. She also said she thought it was from Viena, but there are no markings to confirm that.

Have you removed the hands and dial ? You must see the movement to look for the makers marks . No one can answer you questions from seeing a photograph . The same applies to the other clock you posted .
