The Erie-Lackawanna Safety Award pin is 1.9 Cm in diameter, and the Conrail Safety Committee pin is 2.9Cm across. These pins date from the 1970s.

Really nice vintage railroad safety pins Ted. My grandfather was a car repairman foreman for the LIRR (Long Island RR) and had lifetime passes for himself & wife, if we kids went along we rode free with them :)
Hi, Jenni.....thanks for the love and the interesting comment. we lived near a Lackawanna train yard. My Father had a bar, which many of the trainmen visited. It was an interesting life back then! Got these in a box lot at an auction....I go in for such nostalgic items.....
