This label is not, unfortunately, included in the Vintage Fashion Guild brand database.
Upon my consulting images of vintage Levi Strauss labels on Google and sagaciously scrutinising your provided photos, I determined the knitted sweater is from the mid-to-late 1970s, thereabouts.
The Levi Strauss archive database is free online last I checked about a year ago.
Thanks so much for the info, I thought 70s also, very sad if it’s not authentic.
No, CrazyW5, this is--I do believe--an authentic Levi Strauss sweater. Through my quondam search query, I located two persons with identically labelled garments.
