Based on some of the similar colors on these, I wonder if they might not have been painted using stencils. I forget what that is called, P.....? Driving me crazy that I can't remember. Still done by hand, just not freehand....
Pochoir! Multiple stencils are used in this process, each cut out for a specific area of the work, which a different color paint used with each stencil.
