    Hi my purchase for today was a large Chinese bowl decorated with fruit, it’s rather heavy .It looks like mother of Pearl in the background, it is stamped on the bottom, could anybody tell me anything about it , I can’t find one like it .

      you have to rotate the mark left in the diamond formed mark in the middle is an sort of 4 legged pitchfork

      , so it would be right on the typ row at the right, and the worm beaded necklace symbol in the middle of the lower row

      then it reads Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi -1736-1795

      but has been in the fouth quarter of the century

      IMO this is no mother of pearl

      the number 20 is probably committed to a jingdezhen factory

      this is cute piece, but it is a tourist piece
