      Is she marked AM 390 ? She doesn't look like a 390 however it appears she is a painted bisque doll and color not fired. Replaced wig.Is her head composition? the coloring is beautiful but something is different than other 390s that are bisque .
      Can you photo back of her head? If she a Armand 390 she would be later 1920-30s. Her painting is just too vivid it is throwing me off .

      I agree with Manikin. She does not quite look like a 390. I wonder if the eyes have been replaced? The iris seems to be smaller than in other AM 390 dolls (and the pupil too), and I think that's why she looks more like "staring". The white part is also very white, like in new eyes.
      I also wonder if she has been repainted?
