Kind of a guess from a photo but this has all the look of a piece of Japanese Export glass, either pre-WWII or shortly thereafter.
Thanks artfoot, I didn’t even consider Japanese was thinking Czech glass
I’ve just found a Japanese vase that I think fits your description
