Red Wing Pottery Plate .... President Eisenhower's Dedication to Bridge

I was looking around the old homestead for something to post for our President's Day.

I found this Red Wing pottery plate in our kitchen cupboard.
A souvenir for the Hiawatha bridge, officially named the Eisenhower Bridge for Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States
The bridge was identified as in need of replacement; construction on the replacement span began in 2017 and the original bridge was demolished in February 2020.
