Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely old Brooch which was a very early find, when I first started picking up interesting things. I think it’s antique, I don’t know anything about it.

Google Lens turned up a couple of near-twin hits. That is, the front of the brooch looks the same, but the back is different, because the near-twins are just rounds that haven't been mounted in anything:

IMO, the term "Cabochon" doesn't seem quite accurate.
There appears to be some kind of stamp or hallmark in the middle of the brooch mount on yours, but I can't read it.
Thanks kera I wasn’t sure what the material was thought it was enamel, I think it has 587 , I wasn’t sure at the time if it was real gold so spent ages cleaning it then rub the gold away, so I know it’s plated.
