Professor Oiva Toikka is probably best known for his collection of glass birds introduced in 1972 with over 400 different species. Despite his passing in 2019 new birds will continue to be made due the the vast number of designs he created.
This one is called Uuhu (Eagle-Owl) it is 26cm tall by 15.5cm and was in production between 2009 and 2022
very stylistic bird this also.... so simple shape and well done
