When I was a kid in the 60s, I listened to a child’s vinyl record that was about how rice came to be in China. In the story, you would tap an empty bowl and say “ corn and wheat , rats and mice, now produce a bowl of rice” and then rice would come into the bowl and then it would overflow the bowl all over China. Has anybody ever heard of that story or the record?
I fear soon the Chinese children will be singing
