Black Ash, Sweet Grass and Deer Antler basket made by Passamaquoddy artist Eric "Otter" Bacon. 4 inches in diameter by 2 1/4 inches in height, it is made with splints from the Black Ash Tree, Sweet Grass lashed around the rim of the lid, and the finial is made from a ring fashioned from a Deer Antler. Made in 2007, it is a great example of Otter's earlier work.
