Another wartime vehicle built on the Beetle platform, Kübelwagen is a contraction of Kübelsitzwagen, meaning "bucket-seat car". Full-scale production started in February 1940 and they were in use throughout the war, serving as a versatile, air-cooled transport for the Wehrmacht across all fronts. Despite lacking 4-wheel drive, its low weight, high ground clearance, and flat underbody allowed it to operate effectively in mud, snow, and sand.
The model this time is a Corgi but again in 1:43 scale. It shows a 1944 Kübelwagen dressed to impress with its roof off.
