1930's-1940's Santa Candy Container

Pictured is a 1930's-1940's candy container. This santa was made in the U.S., and is made of a paper pulp product which was used to make egg cartons at that time. Candy or a small gift could be stored in his bag. This particular one was given as a gift for Christmas long ago, for there is faint writing in pencil on the bottom of the piece.
