I know very little about my trunk's history, and I'm hoping someone who sees it will be able to provide me with some insight. I'd be interested to know the approximate age and quality of the trunk, as well as an estimated value. Thanks!
Basic, large, canvas covered steamer with leather straps. Age is anywhere from 1890-1910. Looks like the corners are leather as it looks like there are some chunks missing. In this condition, about $50. If the trunk has the copper or brass risers that elevate the tray when you open the lid, it would be worth a little more.
