Love this, but no idea what it is for? It changes color in different light? and is 3 1/2 inches tall and about 3 3/4 inches long? No idea of age, no markings glass if kind of wavy? color changes from blue to purple?

Its neodymium glass. I've seen some that have 3 different colours :)
