    Hey all i found this button while metal detecting i havent been able to find alot of information about it. what i know it was gilted in gold and in the 1820's era. the back i believe is iron as its just a blob of metal. on the back is small bumps. i cannot get a maker's mark since its in bad shape.

      I forgot to mention its the size of a cufflink maybe smaller
