Thanks everyone for loving this pin. This pin is actually the one that started my interest in costume jewelry. When I saw this beauty and held it in my hand I realized how much work went into the creation of it! There are probably more than 100 rhinestones and beads fastened individually with wires to the base. The back reminds me of some pieces by Miriam Haskell - but this is just a guess. I just regret that I didn't buy the matching earrings. They had some of the pink rhinestones missing but I have an old pin with the same stones and could have used those to fix the earrings. Oh well, live and learn:)
