I picked this one up in Florida. It was sold as a set but I am sure that these pieces don't go together. The pin and the earrings are set in goldstone but the earrings are of a much better quality. I can't wear them because they are screwback, and my ears don't agree with this. I will never understand how women could subject themselves to this torture.

Freiheit it's easy to let the earrings change into hooks. I agree with your opinion about the unconfortable screw backs. I cannot see well the mosaic from the aerrings could you place a more clear photo please. Because I think to see millefiori instead of mosaics?

I am sick today - have a really bad cold :( I will post some more pictures when I feel better. My earrings look exactly like the one on page 79 in the book "Answers to Questions About Old Jeweler" by C. Jeanenne Bell. The difference is that they are screw-back and they are sterling silver, I believe plated 12K. I am too lazy to go upstairs to check. I was thinking of changing them into hooks but I wasn't sure if this would greatly affect the value in a negative way.
I think, however, that you are right about millefiori.
