I got this bamboo fly rod along with a reel from my father who found it in an old run down barn in a tiny Hamlet near Paisley Ontario, Canada. Not sure how old it is, there are no definitive markings but it's condition indicates it is old. Purely a showpiece now as it is not in its original condition.. There have been modifications made to the connecting ends so if one were to use this rod it would break instantly. Nonetheless it is a great showpiece to have.
I got the fly book from my Grandmother this past year. I did some research online and found these books were made during the 1950's. Book is in good shape and depicts various fish types and flies all across Canada. Very interesting fine.
