I purchased this several years ago in an antique mall. It is a stoneware jug with an Albany slip glaze , measures 8 1/4" high with bottom diameter of jug being 7 1/2". Quite heavy weighs about 3-4 pounds. The writing is embossed on the jug. Reads "Property of Dr. Pepper, Good for Life, Bottling Co. Fountain Service" Sorry the photos are turned (I edited and rotated them before posting but they came on turned instead of upright). I was wondering if this might be a product of Dublin, Texas Bottling Company? I believe the period after Dr was eliminated in 1950's, and The "Good For Life" slogan was used in 1930-40's. Can anyone tell me what this is or the origin. I have perused the Dr Pepper sites and clubs and not seen one like it. I believe the jug to be older but has been modified. Any help is appreciated, Thank you!!!
