Would love to have some idea about this piece. Handed down from an old-maid great-aunt from Germany who died in the 1940s. I have searched through thousands of pictures without ever even finding something similar. The bowl itself is about 4 inches high with the handle adding another 4 inches. The bowl is made of speckled green ceramic, no marking inside or out. The wire basket which is woven around it is of a very flat wire which has the appearance of pewter. Just looking to add some information to this family heirloom. Thanks for anything.
