Coffee Table

Here is a coffee table I designed and made for a friend. She needed a coffee table so I made her one. She was worried about the top of the coffee table being damaged , so I made her a tray to go on top. The tray can also be used for eating while sitting on the couch.
In total it cost me $75 to make. Coffee table $60 Tray $15.
I had to make it robust as she has 5 kids, ranging from 5 -15 years old.
I could have made a basic table, just with a top. I like to make things that are extra useful. So I put a drawer in it and a tray for magazines.
I am extra proud of it because I have never had a wood working lesson in my life.
