    Found this among 15k 60's-80's baseball cards for $.25 each in an antique store...I can usually find info on things like this, but so far I'm stumped.

    Basically the same size as standard Tobacco cards (slightly wider & shorter than the Imperial Tobacco Infantry Training card I have to compare it to).

    The sheen on it is puzzling to me...it isn't gloss, I'm not worried about it being a reprint...it is more like the old Tintype photo process.

    The back of the card is blank. The text on the front says...

    "88" "DEVONPORT ROYAL NAVAL BARRACKS"

    Any input you can give me to identify it is helpful and appreciated!

      I just posted a similar photo after seeing yours. You're right about the sheen that emits from tilting it.
