Really don't think it is 'that' old, these were every where I'd say if you like it , keep it or look on E-Bay but I'd bet it's not worth much. Nice looking thing tho......
Pops - Can you provide a bit more info on the years when these were common? Love it as a decor item, not expecting true "antique" status in the strict sense. Thanks in advance.
If you search Chinese Palace Lantern you will find many examples. Some have carved dragons on the top, reverse painted glass panels and red silk tassels. Price depends on age, quality of workmanship, condition, size, etc.
